Hi Folks,

Today was a choppy market. We are still only a few percent from the market top.

Demoralizing Day

I have emphasized hedging to the point where people verbally tell me ad nauseum: “Todd, I don’t hedge. I don’t want to hedge. It’s complicated.”. This email is not for those folks.

If You Want to Talk about Strategies to Protect against the downside, please reach out to Me: Mike Ray, and I would be the 2 key people who you would talk to you. If you are – or when you reach a point of seriousness – please let know. Mike Ray and I can talk to you together.

—–

Mike Ray, Mike Morton, two other people ( in addition to 2-other admin folks) help with ideas. We can talk to you about our ideas – if you want.

We all have limited time, so if you can prepare some documents on who you are – we can discuss strategies with you over the phone.

We aren’t market specialists or stock brokers. We will talk to you about what we do. This gives you the opportunity to decide if it makes common sense.

Please Contact Alex at helpdesk@dividendlab.com if you are interested in further info.

I am a believer of Quant Screens – and Alex is now helping out with those. They are time intensive in organizing the ideas. I have 3 new ideas that I have to say “meet my highly desirable test”. Contacting Alex at helpdesk@dividendlab.com if the first step.

Thanks & I look forward to talking to anybody on the above issues. TJ

Todd

HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN; IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM. ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDICTION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK OF ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT TRADING RESULTS.
