Topic:

The investment club would focus upon safety and monthly dividend income. If required, we will seek legal guidance and SEC approval.

Investment Club Focus:

A few Dividend Lab subscribers will likely start a Basic Investing Club. If an attorney is required for SEC purposes, then will take this action. There will be investment club managers who possess brokerage experience; and/or possess legal experience; and/or possess net/net expertise; and/or possess quantitative investing.

Common Positions:

The positions will include a focus upon monthly and quarterly dividends and income.

Future:

One can assume the investment club will pursue activists positions; and/or net/net positions; a strong focus upon monthly income; a strong focus upon Closed End Fund (CEF) value-added actions.

The investment club won’t take any action unless we know we can initially start as an investment club. We will consult with an attorney first.

Club Management:

One can assume an investment club with well-rounded decision-making process for all actions. One can assume investment ideas from all varieties of investment styles.

Ideas I like are Phillip Goldstein of Bulldog Investors. The fund will have a key goal of achieving monthly and quarterly income. The investment club goals will have two primary goals: 1) take closed end fund actions similar to Bulldog Investors; 2) establish quantitative investments; and 3) establish positions in activist holdings.

I will keep everyone aware of the current status. The investment club will have a focus upon monthly dividends; a significant focus upon reinvesting dividends reinvestments; and activist-position investments.

NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN; IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM.
